Writer, Costume and Production Designer, Fabricator with Stop Motion Designer

KNR Productions, Director Richard Ragsdale, Featuring When-Chu

I devised this experimental movement short film with a production company in LA, KNR Productions, and veteran horror director and composer, Rich Ragsdale. It is Inspired by the Japanese dance theatre art form known as Butoh, and is a study of the body, spirit, and raw materials.  Filmed in a burned zone in Griffith Park.  I created the prayer circle with a cut down dead tree donated from the Cal Arts college campus, and created the flags my studio at the Brewery, LA.  I also dyed and batiked copious amounts of silk fabric and created the cocoon that envelopes the dancer.  The end of the film features on set live action stop motion animation, A special chest piece was also created for this segment
