In the winter of 2011, on an unusually clear day in Los Angeles, we began principal photography on the live action commercial shoot for THQ’s hit Wii video game, DeBlob 2. Armed to the teeth with motorcycle-cops and film permits, we shut down two whole blocks of L.A. storefronts and started building the real life version of DeBlob’s Prisma City. From a sidewalk full of monochromatic background extras to giant Orwellian propaganda art, we made sure the canvas was set properly…to put color in motion.
